I've been a fan of volleyball since the 1984 Olympics. Having watched my daughter play and also a lot of college volleyball the last few years, it was great to see a professional women's volleyball league start here in the US. Many of these players played overseas...until now. From January to May of 2024, we watched the Atlanta Vibe, Orlando Valkyries, Columbus Fury, Grand Rapids Rise, Omaha Supernovas, Vegas Thrill and San Diego Mojo. Omaha beat Grand Rapids in the inaugural championship. The Indianapolis Ignite join the fray in 2025 with Dallas and Kansas City adding teams in 2026. I originally started just practicing water color action shots. Then when the Orlando Valkyries unveiled their armoered jerseys, I wanted to do some portraits. Then I switched to alcohol based markers. Originally, I was going to do a just a few, but ended up doing every player and head coach, as well as a few fans.
